Perancangan Media Radio Streaming STMIK Kristen Neumann Indonesia Mahdianta Pandia

ABSTRACT

Radio streaming is a media to carry out broadcasting continually by internet. Broadcasting is done by playing songs on the server side and the information sent can be heard by the listeners at the listeners side by online and continually. Streaming radio technology allows broadcasters to reach the entire surface of the earth without any particular restrictions, even though there was radio streaming which is only accessible in certain areas as it related to the legality of the content from the streaming radio.On the client side, the listeners can use the media of smartphones, PCs, and laptops to access the streaming radio application by online. The result showed that media streaming radio of STMIK Christian Neumann Indonesian can be used as a broadcast for the promotion of information/news, online seminars, coverage around the campus, songs and lecture material to be presented in an attractive way.
