PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA SMA MELALUI  MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN SOFTWARE GEOGEBRA

 ABSTRACT

This research is a quasi experiment. The aims of this research is to (1) describe increasing student’s problem solving ability through learning by using problem based learning model with geogebra software, and (2) to describe influence for using geogebra software to mathematics learning. From this result acquires that the using of geogebra software in mathematics learning process is to help student understand about answere area and to find optimum value from linear program of problems. Furthermore, this research impact to increase of student’s problem solving ability, by using geogebra software could be influence of mathematics learning process. Based on reult of calculating using geogebra software questionary through problem based learning model in mathematics learning process has positively influence. The result is 51,53% students said agree. Then, we can conclude that (1) the increasing of students’s problem solving ability which is get by learning with problem based learning model with geogebra software is higher than students’s problem solving ability which is get by usually learning without geogebra software, (2) Which has positively influence to using geogebra software with problem based learning model for learning result, especially for linear program subject.
